Le dit et le discours dans 'Les Mots et les Choses' : l'émergence du fonctionnalisme discursif

Abstract : This work is part of a research on Michel Foucault's discursive functionalism between 1965 and 1976. It constitutes the first step with Les mots et les choses (1966). Its objective is to describe, within this book, the characteristics of a first functionalism, a classical functionalism of representational and analytical order Functionalism designates what is the nature of the discourse object in its primary function, but it does not say how to configure its description, what archeology does in its link to the archive. Handwritten notes are partly taken into account by comparison with the printed text of Les mots et les choses around the rubric "Grammar" in order to emphasize the methodological scope of this first form of discursive functionalism.
