New interface

The activities of the AMAC members are centered around the design and implementation of numerical and symbolic tools for the resolution of ODE's and PDE's, with applications to control and optimization problems. The department has 6 components:

  • AirSea (Mathematics and Computing Applied to Oceanic and Atmospheric Flows, INRIA team, since January 2015)
  • CAS3C3 (Calcul Algébrique et Symbolique, Sécurité, Systèmes Complexes, Codes et Cryptologie, since January 2019)
  • EDP (Partial Differential Equations)
  • ELAN (ModEling the appearance of Nonlinear phenomena, INRIA team, since October 2017)
  • STEEP (Sustainability Transition, Environment, Economy and local Policy, INRIA team, since January 2010)
  • TRIPOP (Modeling, simulation and command of non smooth dynamical systems, INRIA team, since January 2018)

Former teams:

  • BIPOP (Modeling, control and simulations in non smooth dynamical systems, nonsmooth optimization, INRIA team, until December 2017)
  • CASYS (Algebraic Computing and Dynamical Systems, until December 2018)
  • MOISE (Modelling, Observation and Identification for Environmental Sciences, INRIA team, until December 2014)
  • NANO-D (Algorithms for Modeling and Simulating Nanosystems, INRIA team, from January 2014 to April 2021)
